Dr. Rafaela Dejanovic hails from Croatia and spent her early years just outside Manhattan. Inspired by her mother, Dr. Ljiljana Frkovic, a fellow dentist, along with her childhood friend and orthodontist, Dr. Kathleen Hargaden, she chose to pursue dentistry. Dr. Rafaela earned her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University and went on to obtain a Master's in Biomedical Science at Rutgers Medical and Dental School. She graduated from NYU College of Dentistry, where she trained with leaders in cosmetic dentistry, followed by a general residency at NYU Lutheran Medical Center, a level 1 trauma facility, before relocating to Wilmington in 2017.
